Long-distance kiss

“There is one pain I often feel, which you will never know. It is caused by the absence of you.”

“Absence is to love what wind is to a fire; it puts out the little, it kindles the great.”
~ Comte DeBussy-Rabutin

i went to a party last night with Jonathan and got to meet a bunch of his old friends.

unfortunately, “i” was a bunch of pictures of me on his iPod touch photo album. this long-distance thing really sucks sometimes. and i’m not sure that it will get any better, will it? do i even want it to? do i want to learn to live without someone i was just getting used to living with and depending on?

*sigh*

we’ve got enough wind over here to fan a fire across the entire forest of British Columbia. and i’m not looking for sympathy. i just hope this post reminds you to appreciate the time you have with your loved one. stop arguing about dirty socks lying around or who’s turn it is to do dishes. give them a great big hug and kiss instead.

EDIT: apparently i want a new computer for Christmas. long-distance dates will never be the same!

    Cute picture and excellent sentiments.
It seems & feels like a long time but your stay there will be over before you know it.
Have to go upstairs now and hug & kiss the lady in my life.
