one cold Vancouver weekend late in November 2004, a girl met a boy. she was wearing a borrowed pink t-shirt. he had a zippered sweater on. there was red wine involved. and a 24-hour pizza joint.
every day since then has been an exercise for her challenging independent and stubborn nature. she loved him for putting up with her. and she loves him now for being her biggest cheerleader.
i am so lucky to be in love with my best friend and the coolest person i know.
