32 days until I walk across the street and get on one of those airplanes
i land in Saskatchewan at 3:53pm on April 19th.
i have been away from North America since mid-August 2007. which feels like a very long time. and yet, we all know the months have absolutely flown by. where on earth did the time go? when am i going to stop asking that?
have i mentioned lately how excited i am to see Maddy? no? well, let me remind you: i am REALLY excited to see my girl. i can hardly wait. and i am so nervous about saying goodbye to her again. it will be *that* much harder now that i know she’ll never join me down here and now that i know how much it sucks not to have her around.
EDIT: i just ordered $150 worth of novels on Amazon.com and had them shipped to my mom’s house. holidays are good.

Wow, 32 days! I am sure they will go by very fast!!
By the way, Maddy is really the greatest looking dog I have ever seen! I am sure she is so excited to see you too! Somehow I have noticed that animals sense when their beloved parents are coming back after a long absence…
