My brain cells sent me a memo today

… and somehow they managed to channel the wise words of W. H. Auden:

“You owe it to us all to get on with what you’re good at.”

block 3: a few things memorized for physio and biochemistry

riding the wave of procrastination is all fine and dandy. but it’s time to suck it up and buckle down. 32 days is only 32 days. and i still have 7 block exams and 3 shelf subject exams to write.

You want to talk about procrastination? I’ve been sitting at my desk for about 11 hours, and I think i’ve done about 1 hours worth of work.

The phrase “suck it up” grates on every nerve in my body but, because it’s you, I’ll let it go. ;)

32 days. Wow, that pesky time critter. It’s quick, isn’t it?

Yeah. That’s me lately. Camera is in the shop and I can’t bring myself to edit stuff that really really needs to get done. Procrastination is becoming my name this month apparently. I think I will take your channeled advice and get it done.

I don’t expect you to update for 32 days. Err, 31 days.

Let’s say 26 so you have some leeway.

That’s one a week of bleary eyed, paper cut and frenetic updates until the prairies greet you. Yeah, I know it won’t happen ;-)

Sadly, I did try to find a Star Trek allusion to this but I could only think of Amok Time.
