Busy. Happy. Busy.

#172: sunday afternoon

[this was taken in March 2007. i miss my bestest napping partner and obviously plan to do a lot of catching up when i'm home in a couple of weeks.]

every night i fall into bed exhausted and am asleep before my head even hits the pillow. i swear i don’t turn or toss or twitch an inch the entire night. i wake up in the exact same position.

6 hours later, i am fully and completely convinced something is wrong with my clock because it can’t possibly be time to get up yet. i just got here. outside it is windy and cold and rainy. and cold. the bed is warm. did i mention it’s COLD outside??

the promise of coffee helps. the day begins.

i’m eating well. i’m working hard. i’m enjoying the mountains i have to climb.

i will be back when i have time to write a real post with real paragraphs about real things. for the next two weeks this is what’s real about my life.

i am so happy. : ))

You don’t need to write a real post about real things :) All that matters is that you’re happy!
Now I am off to bed to toss and turn and dream about pathologies of the reproductive system. EW cauliflower looky like things on penors :(

I don’t want to appear adversarial, however … “brownies for breakfast!”, doesn’t actually make you eligible to make the statement, “i’m eating well”.

*thinks you should take a do-over for nutrition-101*

How do you survive on 6 hours of sleep per day? Do you catch up on the weekend?
