Neuro, i have always loved you. Genetics, you have an awesome professor. Epidemiology, i think we’ll be friends as long as you keep the math under control.
but Microbiology, you just might make this semester suck a little more than it should.

Oh my god I think my revision is actually working
I watched that thinking ‘gosh that looks a little like a complement pathway’
Micro is great it’s the immunology that sucks
Oh man…I remember complement pathways now. Good luck, Jen :D You can do it!
the complement cascade is an immunologic response, not really microbiology.
wait till you get to the drugs. rote memorization has never been so…annoying.
I don’t remember the complement cascade having a great white shark in it?! Actually I don’t know what the hell any of that was!! We learned about all that immunological stuff in physiology, not micro…that’s crazy!
sorry sorry! i know this is immuno.
but we cram all of immunology in the first three weeks of our micro course. and it’s the whole semester i’m nervous about. not just the first block. : o
Well I don’t know what that was… but the shark was cute! Hang in there hun’ :)
I never really grasped the immuno stuff we did. I kinda “skipped” that part. We had to do a poster (yes…a poster) and we made little Mr. T’s representing T cells, and pacmans, and monsters representing antigen…and the Mr. T’s said “I pity the antigen”, and then we used a hole punch to make a bunch of little circles, and those were our complement…and that about summarizes my knowledge of the whole thing
(don’t worry other people reading this..i’m NOT a med student).
Seems straight forward, what the problem? This is how the body codes for the white stuff that forms in the corner of you eyes correct?
