when you add quotes to your entry, do you actually know them beforehand, or do you search for generic quotes to fit with what you are writing about?

Michael J. Fox in excellent quote shocker! I think I’d enjoy the colouring more than the learning. :)
Yup, wonkyness now fixed.

ever heard of ‘Mozart effect’? if you really really like listening to music while studying you can listen to some of the Mozart symphonies which are supposed increase your attention span and mental functions.. Although I’d prefer Feist, I sometimes listen to Bach while studying, that also helps :)

alexia – it varies. often, i am reading something and a quote will pop out at me. usually i fold the page down in the book and keep reading. later, when i’m writing, i’ll remember a quote that i liked and go back to write it down (type it out). the rest of the post usually follows from that quote subject.
most often, the quote comes first and the post topic second. but sometimes (like when writing about the cat) i have a specific subject in mind and go looking for something i like that someone else said about the same thing.
so, sometimes the chicken comes first and other times, the egg. : ))
