we’re doing our best to play tourist. but both of us are so content sitting on the front porch watching the planes come and go that i know the next 4 days are going to fly by (pun intended).
so far he approves of: the Pizza Beach generous crust, Teahouse shrimp chop suey that really isn’t chop suey, most of my iTunes random playlists, the extremely mediocre grocery store coffee i drink every morning, my front porch view of St. Kitts, paying $10US to watch the Riders play lose online when the usual free streaming site gets shut down for the zillionth time, email from the laptop on the porch, Carib beer, taking a shower with water pressure that drips instead of sprays, and walking up and down windy beaches licking the sea salt spray from your lips.
i can’t explain how awesome it is to share a place so special to me with peeps so special to me. so happy to have you here, Kev.

I *heart* the nametag! *LOL*
Hey KEV!!!! Wish I could have met you. Hope you are having a wonderful time and aren’t too hot. I always get hot there so I know the feeling trust me. Jen would never run the A/C all the time for me. You are damn lucky!! Guess I need to bring twizzlers too so that I can get the A/C on all the time : )
I approve of pretty much everything here, and agree that “Made of Honor” goes better with booze. It’s been a great time so far, although I am having a really hard time accepting how much has passed already.
Don’t let Jen fool you, though. The coffee’s great, and she left out the most important part: the company is fabulous! :)
@dearheart: these were shirts that we were given at the Mozilla Summit. the nametags are printed on the shirt, and the sharpie stands up well to washing.
@BCBW: hey Brandon!!! Yeah, I’m really sorry our paths didn’t cross in San Juan (I was watching for you), and that I’ll be gone before you get back. Not too hot right now, but it does get awfully warm out there. I am very, very thankful I’m being spoiled with the AC. Twizzlers are an excellent idea, as is (apparently) pear vodka and tonic. ‘grats on kicking ass yesterday, and hope you enjoy the rest (start?) of your break.
Sooooo awesome and I am sooooo jealous. Vic and I are definitely going to have to follow in his footsteps one of these days! I hope that you guys had a totally awesome time!
