Hurricane Omar: Update
just a lot of rain so far. in fact, tonight feels extra quiet in an eerie sort of way. there isn’t even a breeze.
calm before the storm? better for us all to be safe than sorry.
UPDATE update: power back on as of around 11am Thursday. safe. sound. except for a noisy night, it was pretty uneventful. thank goodness.

Rain sounds great! Not even an airport spot light on tonight!! Can’t wait to be through this first hurricane. Couldn’t ask for a better person to share it with either!! : )

Hurricane passed without notice for the most part : ( Probably a good thing, but the first hurricane experience wasn’t anything too drastic. Seemed like a prolonged rainstorm with a tornado somewhere off in the distance.
