Hi, I’m in Sint Maarten.

i just really really wanted a Big Mac and it’s only a 30 minute flight away.

actually, it was Brandon’s (incredibly brilliant) idea to carve out some time from our insane study schedule to see a bit more of the Caribbean while we have the chance. we won’t ever have time (or money), so we decided to make time (and print money on our counterfeit machine). and here we are. who knew it was so warm in November in the Netherlands?

the timing couldn’t feel more perfect from my end. not going home in August — after MED 3 very nearly burned me out — might have been a mistake. our last exam is just another 34 sleeps away, but i need all the mid-flight refueling i can get at this point. somehow Brandon knew an all-inclusive in paradise might be just what we needed. he’s smart like that.

right now, our shopping list includes cartons of cigarettes (for Brandon’s old landlord and good friend) and oil filters for the generator at Mount Nevis Hotel. oh, and rumour has it there is an Apple store somewhere around here…
