we are only 14 months apart in age, but seemed to struggle through the years to develop a close bond. i was one grade above her in school and yet that distance was much too great for me to let her hang out with us older kids. and then she moved away. and then i moved away. and we seem to have been bouncing around the country/world ever since.

if you ever wondered who is the prettier, smarter, funnier, stronger, sexier, more adventurous, braver, tougher, and more sensitive with animals…

it’s her for sure.

she can fix an engine and fly a plane and ride a dirt bike and wear high heels. and she turns the big 3-0 today. happy birthday, little sis. here’s hoping 2009 brings you so much health and happiness you’re insides will absolutely burst. i love you tons and am so proud to call you my sister. see you in 26 sleeps!
