Hi! I’m in Nebraska!

it sort of looks exactly like Saskatchewan. except not.

at 5am on Tuesday, mom and i left for the Regina airport. by 930am, i was in a Sky Shuttle zipping into downtown Edmonton to meet the glowing and gorgeous Darlene for a quick lunch. at 3pm, i got back on a plane and was landing in Colorado before my movie even ended.
the full day of travel flew by. but the walk from my gate to the arrivals section of Denver International (and into Brandon’s patiently waiting arms!) took absolutely forever. i swear there were like 6 mile-long moving walkway thingies.
we spent last night in Denver with a few of Brandon’s friends and drove to Scottsbluff this morning.

so, here i am! for a week! right now i’m in a house full of happy dogs and overflowing Christmas decorations and it feels great. tomorrow morning we get up bright and early to drive to Lincoln and Omaha. not sure how often i’ll be online over the next few days or week, but i promise to update if i change states or countries again.
PS: i have a feeling Maddy is going to put me in the doghouse for a bit when i get back. thanks for taking such good care of her, Janice. put in a good word or two for me. i miss her already. : (

I wish you could have brought Maddy, but we will make it up to her by playing outside no matter how cold it is. I am coming prepared!! : ) Love the pictures too, so glad we went to the top of the Scottsbluff Monument even if it was freezing!!

Great picture of two HAPPY people. Looks like a cold wind was blowing.
Glad you made it without any problems.
Think you should make Brandon’s travel arrangements.
Have a great Holiday you two.

Sorta does look like Saskatchewan just not this time of year as there are no 10′ snow drifts! Enjoy your time – I can’t wait to hear what Brandon thinks of SK!

[...] We came first to Scottsbluff and I showed her the essentials from my high school, junior high, grade school, the hospital where my mom works, the country club, the wal-mart, mall, my house, the baseball field, football field, and last but not least the Monument. On her website, there is an excellent picture from the top of the National Monument here known as Scottsbluff National Monument. [...]
