Heck, it’s not to late for both of you to make a run for it (together). Then everybody can try and figure what happened then have a hell of a party. ;-)
They can’t both run. Someone has to stick around to collect all the presents.
If they both run, I’d like to ask sarah to marry me and we can then collect J&B’s presents. ;)
