Residency application: Submitted!

The online application system officially opened on September 1st.
Attempting to proof-read and finish up my application with one hand (juggling baby in the other) put me behind about a day. I submitted my first round of personal statements, CVs and letter of recommendations to almost 60 of my first choice programs yesterday afternoon.
I say “first round” and “first choice” because I’m willing to widen the net and drop some more cash if I don’t receive the response I’m hoping for within a month or so.
The only thing I’m not super happy with is my photo. Brandon said this is the first time he has ever seen me with bags under my eyes (see juggling baby above), so… taking one today wasn’t really an option. Thankfully, I snapped a quick head-and-shoulders a month or so back as a sort of test run. Except I didn’t anticipate the test run ending up as The Real Thing. Still, I think I look as friendly and smart as any passport-style photo can portray and am hoping someone somewhere thinks I’ll be a great fit for their residency program.
Now, we sit back and wait.
