We’re all merry-ho-ho over here and ready for Christmas. Today is my last day of work before 9 Whole Days Off In A Row.

I’m terribly excited to get a break from the hospital and kick back at my mom’s cozy farmhouse. Here is my to-do list for the next week:

- hug my mom
- drink coffee spiked with Bailey’s
- go snowshoeing
- sit around on the couch
- visit with my sister and brothers
- watch Creighton play with his cousin
- sleep
- Christmas tea with my grandparents (no Bailey’s)
- frozen pond ice skating
- decorate cutter cookies

Brandon and I haven’t experienced December in Saskatchewan since 2008. That was Brandon’s first introduction to Canada and it was -56 with the windchill. He learned what a block heater is good for. We are packing snowsuits and long underwear…
